TWO ENTHUSIASTS DEVOTED TO HEALTHY COOKING

François Benavente is a naturopath with in-depth expertise in hormonal imbalances and endocrine disruptors. For years, he has been supporting people affected by metabolic and endocrine disorders, and raising awareness of the impact of the invisible toxic substances in our daily lives, often found in cookware.

Pierre Jassin is a travelling craftsman who loves nature and fine natural materials. He lives close to the elements, works with wood, explores supply chains around the world and brings his exacting standards to making long-lasting, functional products. He oversees the technical quality of every Pranacook piece.

TWO BACKGROUNDS, ONE SHARED VISION

Together, we bring complementary skills and a shared desire to do meaningful work.

Our project grew naturally out of this partnership: a brand with strong values, born of a real, practical need, that makes healthy, reliable and beautiful cookware accessible to everyone.

WHY PRANACOOK?

PRANACOOK STARTED WITH A SIMPLE BUT ESSENTIAL REALISATION: HOW WE COOK AFFECTS OUR HEALTH

Having been involved in wellbeing for several years, we see the real and profound impact of food on vitality, hormonal balance and chronic inflammation… and on our life force too.

What struck us is that many people make every effort to eat well, yet keep cooking with utensils that contaminate their food without them knowing: toxic non-stick coatings, heated plastics, materials containing endocrine disruptors.

In France, the choice of healthy, long-lasting and affordable cookware is very limited. The alternatives are often too expensive, or of questionable quality. So we decided to offer a range of 18/10 stainless steel cookware, the best grade of food-grade stainless steel in the world, with no coatings, safe for your health and at a fair price. That way, everyone can enjoy cooking that is healthy, practical and beautiful.

The name Pranacook came about naturally. In Sanskrit, “Prana” means vital energy, the breath of life. It is the invisible force that drives the body, the mind, digestion and regeneration.

And that is exactly what we want to preserve and nourish through our products: cooking that isn’t toxic and doesn’t disrupt the body’s balance, but instead supports our capacity for self-healing, our energy and our health.

Today, cooking is more than an everyday task: it is a ritual of vitality, a space to slow down, breathe, create and love. That is what Pranacook is all about: the art of cooking mindfully, without compromising on your health.
