FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Not with the right technique! To stop food sticking to a stainless steel pan, just follow these few tips:

  • Preheat your pan for 2 minutes over a medium heat, not a high heat.
  • If your pan is hot enough, food won’t stick. To check that it has reached the right temperature, do the water-drop test: sprinkle a few drops of water into the pan. If they roll around and form little beads, your pan is at the right temperature.
  • Adding fat is essential for everything except meat. The excellent thermal conductivity of our pans means you can cook meat without any fat.
  • Be patient: let a first crust form on your food, whether meat or vegetables, before trying to lift it.
  • Thanks to tri-ply stainless steel, our pans heat up very quickly and retain heat for a long time. There is therefore no need to cook over a high heat, and it is not recommended, as your food may burn or stick.

Yes, our cookware is suitable for all types of hob. Thanks to stainless steel, it works perfectly on induction, gas, electric and ceramic hobs, in the oven and even on the barbecue!

For safe cooking, we designed hollow handles to dissipate heat. This limits heat transfer, so you can handle your cookware during cooking without needing a tea towel or oven gloves. The one obvious exception: if you use the pan in the oven, the handle can get hot, so take the necessary precautions.

18/10 stainless steel is a wise choice for your cookware. It has many advantages:
